Proverbs 15:8-10

International Standard Version

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the Lord,
    but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
⁹ The lifestyle of the wicked is detestable to the Lord,
    but he loves those who ardently pursue righteousness.
¹⁰ Severe punishment awaits anyone who wanders off the path—
    anyone who despises reproof will die.
